After instructing the crowd to sit down on the ground,

Then they sat down and kept guard over him there.

save yourself and come down from the cross!” ¹ 

So he came down quickly ¹  and welcomed Jesus ²  joyfully. ³

After he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him.

So they did as Jesus directed, ¹  and the people ²  all sat down.

He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,

“Sir,” the official said to him, “come down before my child dies.”

So Jesus went on up the mountainside ¹  and sat down there with his disciples.
