He granted their request, then struck them with a disease. ¹ 

After all this happened, the Lord afflicted him with an incurable intestinal disease. ¹ 

the plague that comes in the darkness, or the disease that comes at noon. ¹ 

If, however, the disease breaks out ¹  on the skin so that the disease covers all the skin of the person with the infection ²  from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see, ³ 

In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa developed a foot disease. ¹  Though his disease was severe, he did not seek the Lord, but only the doctors. ² 

to teach when something is unclean and when it is clean. ¹  This is the law for dealing with infectious disease.” ² 

And you will get a serious, chronic intestinal disease which will cause your intestines to come out.” ¹ 

They say, ¹  ‘An awful disease ²  overwhelms him, ³  and now that he is bed-ridden he will never recover.’ ⁴ 

At once the bleeding stopped, ¹  and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ¹  Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

The priest must then examine it, ¹  and if ²  the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. ³  It is a disease.

But if there is a reddish white infection in the back or front bald area, it is a disease breaking out in his back or front bald area.

and sprinkle it seven times on the one being cleansed ¹  from the disease, pronounce him clean, ²  and send the live bird away over the open countryside. ³ 

the priest is to come and examine it, and if ¹  the infection has spread in the house, it is a malignant disease in the house. It is unclean.

She told her mistress, “If only my master were in the presence of the prophet who is in Samaria! ¹  Then he would cure him of his skin disease.”

Therefore Naaman’s skin disease will afflict ¹  you and your descendants forever!” When Gehazi ²  went out from his presence, his skin was as white as snow. ³ 

I will bring war, starvation, and disease ¹  on them until they are completely destroyed from the land I gave them and their ancestors.’” ² 

So now be very sure of this: You will die from war, starvation, or disease in the place where you want to go and live.”

I will punish those who live in the land of Egypt with war, starvation, and disease just as I punished Jerusalem.

For Samaria’s ¹  disease ²  is incurable. It has infected ³  Judah; it has spread to ⁴  the leadership ⁵  of my people and has even contaminated Jerusalem! ⁶
