May he grant your heart’s desire; ¹  may he bring all your plans to pass! ²

O Lord, you understand my heart’s desire; ¹  my groaning is not hidden from you.

Look, ¹  you desire ²  integrity in the inner man; ³  you want me to possess wisdom. ⁴ 

Whom do I have in heaven but you? I desire no one but you on earth. ¹ 

The Lord’s deeds are great, eagerly awaited ¹  by all who desire them.

Give me a desire for your rules, ¹  rather than for wealth gained unjustly. ² 

You open your hand, and fill every living thing with the food they desire. ¹ 

What the wicked fears ¹  will come on him; what the righteous desire ²  will be granted. ³ 

A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools abhor ¹  turning away from evil.

Do not envy evil people, ¹  do not desire ²  to be with them;

For in this earthly house ¹  we groan, because we desire to put on ²  our heavenly dwelling,

He wears his desire for justice ¹  like body armor, ²  and his desire to deliver is like a helmet on his head. ³  He puts on the garments of vengeance ⁴  and wears zeal like a robe.

because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) ¹  is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Now my father David had a strong desire ¹  to build a temple to honor the Lord God of Israel. ² 

I will select ¹  you; you will rule over all you desire to have and you will be king over Israel.

Let me again experience the joy of your deliverance! Sustain me by giving me the desire to obey! ¹
