After instructing the crowd to sit down on the ground,

As they were leaving Jericho, ¹  a large crowd followed them.

“You must not follow a crowd ¹  in doing evil things; ²  in a lawsuit you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice, ³ 

And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while ¹  the whole crowd stood on the shore.

Because of the crowd, he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him so the crowd ¹  would not press toward him.

Hide me from the plots of evil men, from the crowd of evildoers. ¹ 

I will thank the Lord profusely, ¹  in the middle of a crowd ²  I will praise him,

Then he called the crowd to him and said, ¹  “Listen and understand.

When ¹  they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

Now ¹  Jesus ²  went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.

Jesus ¹  went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around him.

Then ¹  he called the crowd again and said to them, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran ¹  at once and greeted him.

But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release ¹  Barabbas instead.

Now ¹  the whole crowd ²  of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. ³ 

But he passed through the crowd ¹  and went on his way. ² 

Now when Jesus returned, ¹  the crowd welcomed him, because they were all waiting for him.

When he heard a crowd going by, he asked what was going on.

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

The crowd ¹  answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! ²  Who is trying to kill you?” ³
