As ¹  he was saying this, a cloud ²  came ³  and overshadowed ⁴  them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.

And when ¹  the cloud remained only ²  from evening until morning, when the cloud was taken up ³  the following morning, then they traveled on. Whether by day or by night, when the cloud was taken up they traveled.

Then ¹  a cloud ²  overshadowed them, ³  and a voice came from the cloud, “This is my one dear Son. ⁴  Listen to him!” ⁵ 

Moses went up the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

He made the sky sink ¹  as he descended; a thick cloud was under his feet.

Once the priests left the holy place, a cloud filled the Lord’s temple.

and all were baptized ¹  into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

The glory of the Lord resided ¹  on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. ²  On the seventh day he called to Moses from within the cloud.

Whenever the cloud was taken up ¹  from the tabernacle, then after that the Israelites would begin their journey; and in whatever place ²  the cloud settled, there the Israelites would make camp.

I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud. ¹  Come back to me, for I protect ²  you.”

While he was still speaking, a ¹  bright cloud ²  overshadowed ³  them, and a voice from the cloud said, ⁴  “This is my one dear Son, ⁵  in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!” ⁶ 

Then ¹  I looked, and a white cloud appeared, ²  and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man! ³  He had ⁴  a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

The Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the Lord by name. ¹ 

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

But when the cloud was lifted up ¹  from the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out ²  on all their journeys;

¹  And the cloud of the Lord was over them by day, when they traveled ²  from the camp.
