Give us today our daily bread, ¹ 

Give us each day our daily bread, ¹ 

I am the bread of life. ¹ 

Now ¹  there were five thousand men ²  who ate the bread. ³ 

Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all share the one bread.

and one round flat cake of bread, one perforated cake of oiled bread, and one wafer from the basket of bread made without yeast that is before the Lord.

When I break off your supply of bread, ¹  ten women will bake your bread in one oven; they will ration your bread by weight, ²  and you will eat and not be satisfied.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread he will live forever. The bread ¹  that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

This ¹  is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the bread your ancestors ²  ate, but then later died. ³  The one who eats ⁴  this bread will live forever.”

Then on the fifteenth day of the same month ¹  will be the festival of unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

Then she handed ¹  the tasty food and the bread she had made to her son Jacob.

You are to set the Bread of the Presence ¹  on the table before me continually.

the table with its poles and all its vessels, and the Bread of the Presence;

the table, all its utensils, and the Bread of the Presence;

but the remainder of the meat and the bread ¹  you must burn with fire.

So the priest gave him holy bread, for there was no bread there other than the bread of the Presence. It had been removed from before the Lord in order to replace it with hot bread on the day it had been taken away.

For I eat ashes as if they were bread, ¹  and mix my drink with my tears, ² 

For they eat bread ¹  gained from wickedness ²  and drink wine obtained from violence. ³ 

To show partiality ¹  is terrible, ²  for a person will transgress over the smallest piece of bread. ³ 

She watches over ¹  the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. ²
