The one who has ears had better listen! ¹ 

The one who has ears had better listen!” ¹ 

If anyone has ears to hear, he had better listen!” ¹ 

accordingly Jesus has become the guarantee ¹  of a better covenant.

If anyone has an ear, he had better listen!

But ¹  now Jesus ²  has obtained a superior ministry, since ³  the covenant that he mediates is also better and is enacted ⁴  on better promises. ⁵ 

And he said, “Whoever has ears to hear had better listen!” ¹ 

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

So then, the one who marries ¹  his own virgin does well, but the one who does not, does better. ² 

Thus he became ¹  so far better than the angels as ²  he has inherited a name superior to theirs.

For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us. ¹ 

For it is better to suffer for doing good, if God wills it, ¹  than for doing evil.

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. ¹  The one who has ears had better listen! ² 

The ¹  disciples said to him, “If this is the case of a husband with a wife, it is better not to marry!”

She had endured a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet instead of getting better, she grew worse.

If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better to enter life lame than to have ¹  two feet and be thrown into hell. ² 

What then? Are we better off? Certainly not, for we have already charged that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin,
