You must not do any regular work, but ¹  you must present a gift to the Lord.’”

The tops of the pillars were shaped like lilies. So the construction of the pillars was completed.

and in cutting stones for their setting, ¹  and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft. ² 

or in the warp or woof ¹  of the linen or the wool, or in leather or anything made of leather, ²

Their relatives, who were leaders of their families, numbered 1,760. They were capable men who were assigned to carry out the various tasks of service in God’s temple. ¹

He gave him the regulations ¹  for the divisions of priests and Levites, for all the assigned responsibilities within the Lord’s temple, and for all the items used in the service of the Lord’s temple.
