You have become cruel to me; ¹  with the strength of your hand you attack me. ² 

May your hand help me, for I choose to obey ¹  your precepts.

even there your hand would guide me, your right hand would grab hold of me.

You should tie them as a reminder on your forearm ¹  and fasten them as symbols ²  on your forehead.

Rise up, Lord! ¹  O God, strike him down! ²  Do not forget the oppressed!

You ¹  prevail over ²  all your enemies; your power is too great for those who hate you. ³ 

For your arrows pierce ¹  me, and your hand presses me down. ²

Why do you remain inactive? Intervene and destroy him! ¹ 

You give food to them and they receive it; you open your hand and they are filled with food. ¹ 

Then they will realize ¹  this is your work, ²  and that you, Lord, have accomplished it.

You open your hand, and fill every living thing with the food they desire. ¹ 

Do not withhold good from those who need it, ¹  when ²  you ³  have the ability ⁴  to help. ⁵ 

Get up! Help the boy up and hold him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

Judah, ¹  your brothers will praise you. Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies, your father’s sons will bow down before you.

¹ “You must not give ²  a false report. ³  Do not make common cause ⁴  with the wicked ⁵  to be a malicious ⁶  witness.

You may exact payment from a foreigner, but whatever your fellow Israelite ¹  owes you, you must remit.
