Praise him with the blast of the horn! Praise him with the lyre and the harp!

You must sound loud horn blasts ¹  – in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, on the Day of Atonement – you must sound the horn in your entire land.

Have seven priests carry seven rams’ horns ¹  in front of the ark. On the seventh day march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the horns.

Armed troops marched ahead of the priests blowing the horns, while the rear guard followed along behind the ark blowing rams’ horns.

When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, you also blow your trumpets all around the camp. Then say, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’”

All three units blew their trumpets and broke their jars. They held the torches in their left hand and the trumpets in their right. ¹  Then they yelled, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

They swore their allegiance to the Lord, shouting their approval loudly and sounding trumpets and horns. ¹ 

God has ascended his throne ¹  amid loud shouts; ²  the Lord has ascended his throne amid the blaring of ram’s horns. ³ 

Sound the ram’s horn on the day of the new moon, ¹  and on the day of the full moon when our festival begins. ² 

With trumpets and the blaring of the ram’s horn, shout out praises before the king, the Lord!

“How long must I see the enemy’s battle flags and hear the military signals of their bugles?” ¹ 

Blow the trumpet ¹  in Zion. Announce a holy fast; proclaim a sacred assembly!

When the sound of the horn grew louder and louder, ¹  Moses was speaking ²  and God was answering him with a voice. ³ 

The Lord’s spirit took control of ¹  Gideon. He blew a trumpet, ²  summoning the Abiezrites to follow him. ³ 

David and all Israel ¹  were bringing up the ark of the Lord, shouting and blowing trumpets. ² 

The builders to a man had their swords strapped to their sides while they were building. But the trumpeter ¹  remained with me.

In excitement and impatience it consumes the ground; ¹  it cannot stand still ²  when the trumpet is blown.

At the sound of the trumpet, it says, ‘Aha!’ And from a distance it catches the scent of battle, the thunderous shouting of commanders, and the battle cries.

All you who live in the world, who reside on the earth, you will see a signal flag raised on the mountains; you will hear a trumpet being blown.
