So the people rested on the seventh day.

Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,

the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,

the seventh to Jesharelah ¹  and his sons and relatives – twelve in all,

the fifth Elam, the sixth Jehohanan, and the seventh Elihoenai.

By ¹  the seventh day God finished the work that he had been doing, ²  and he ceased ³  on the seventh day all the work that he had been doing.

He must purify himself ¹  with water on the third day and on the seventh day, and so will be clean. But if he does not purify himself on the third day and the seventh day, then he will not be clean.

And the clean person must sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he must purify him, ¹  and then he must wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and he will be clean in the evening.

The seventh, assigned the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, an Ephraimite. His division consisted of 24,000 men.

For seven days ¹  you must eat ²  bread made without yeast, and on the seventh day there is to be ³  a festival to the Lord.

On the seventh day Elishama son of Ammihud, leader of the Ephraimites, presented an offering.

The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dan ¹  by its clans.

In the third month they began piling their contributions in heaps ¹  and finished in the seventh month.

He entered Jerusalem in the fifth month of the seventh year of the king.

In the seventh month of that very same year ¹  the prophet Hananiah died.

On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on one of the mountains of Ararat. ¹ 

Six days you will gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.”

On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather it, but they found nothing.
