if ¹  you have been ensnared ²  by the words you have uttered, ³  and have been caught by the words you have spoken,

There was an opening in the center of the robe, like the opening of a collar, with an edge all around the opening so that it could not be torn.

The teaching ¹  of the righteous is a fountain of life, ²  but the speech ³  of the wicked conceals ⁴  violence. ⁵ 

At the beginning his words ¹  are foolish and at the end ²  his talk ³  is wicked madness, ⁴ 

“So you are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And as for me, I will be with your mouth ¹  and with his mouth, ²  and I will teach you both ³  what you must do. ⁴ 

There is to be an opening ¹  in its top ²  in the center of it, with an edge all around the opening, the work of a weaver, ³  like the opening of a collar, ⁴  so that it cannot be torn. ⁵ 

At the commandment of the Lord they camped, and at the commandment of the Lord they traveled on; they kept the instructions of the Lord according to the commandment of the Lord, by the authority ¹  of Moses.

For they say cruel and deceptive things to me; they lie to me. ¹ 

Then they said, “We’ll call the girl and find out what she wants to do.” ¹ 

So he saves ¹  from the sword that comes from their mouth, ²  even ³  the poor from the hand of the powerful.

Thus the poor have hope, and iniquity ¹  shuts its mouth. ² 

He will yet ¹  fill your mouth with laughter, ²  and your lips with gladness.

But ¹  I would strengthen ²  you with my words; ³  comfort from my lips would bring ⁴  you relief.

I would lay out my case ¹  before him and fill my mouth with arguments.

the chief men refrained from talking and covered their mouths with their hands;

They waited for me as people wait ¹  for the rain, and they opened their mouths ²  as for ³  the spring rains.

so that my heart was secretly enticed, and my hand threw them a kiss from my mouth, ¹ 

They are calloused; ¹  they speak arrogantly. ² 

You do damage with words, ¹  and use your tongue to deceive. ² 

I cried out to him for help ¹  and praised him with my tongue. ²
