Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering ¹  – on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.

But Lot’s ¹  wife looked back longingly ²  and was turned into a pillar of salt.

But its swamps and its marshes will not become fresh; they will remain salty.

The Arabah and the Jordan River ¹  were also a border, from the sea of Chinnereth ²  to the sea of the Arabah (that is, the Salt Sea), ³  beneath the watershed ⁴  of Pisgah ⁵  to the east.

His kingdom included ¹  the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Kinnereth ²  to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), ³  including the route to Beth Jeshimoth and the area southward below the slopes of Pisgah.

The eastern border was the Salt Sea to the mouth ¹  of the Jordan River. ²  The northern border started north of the Salt Sea at the mouth of the Jordan, ³ 

Don’t you realize that the Lord God of Israel has given David and his dynasty lasting dominion over Israel by a formal agreement? ¹

The whole land will be covered with brimstone, salt, and burning debris; it will not be planted nor will it sprout or produce grass. It will resemble the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord destroyed in his intense anger. ¹ 

the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. ¹  It piled up far upstream ²  at Adam (the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea). ³  The people crossed the river opposite Jericho. ⁴
