Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,

The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachar ¹  by its clans.

Those who will be camping next to them ¹  are the tribe of Issachar. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.

The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, ¹  Jashub, ²  and Shimron.

Of Zebulun he said: Rejoice, Zebulun, when you go outside, and Issachar, when you are in your tents.

This was the land assigned to the tribe of Issachar ¹  by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron – four in all.

Elihu, a brother of David, led Judah, Omri son of Michael led Issachar,

Then Leah said, “God has granted me a reward ¹  because I gave my servant to my husband as a wife.” ²  So she named him Issachar. ³ 

The sons of Leah were Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, as well as Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.
