A trap ¹  seizes him by the heel; a snare ²  grips him.

For, when I think ¹  about this, I am terrified ²  and my body feels a shudder. ³ 

He conceals ¹  the face of the full moon, ²  shrouding it with his clouds.

that it might seize the corners of the earth, ¹  and shake the wicked out of it?

Look at them shake uncontrollably, ¹  like a woman writhing in childbirth. ²

even there your hand would guide me, your right hand would grab hold of me.

Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen, and they owned land there. They were fruitful and increased rapidly in number.

Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified, ¹  trembling will seize ²  the leaders of Moab, and the inhabitants of Canaan will shake.
