In fact, they can no longer die, because they are equal to angels ¹  and are sons of God, since they are ²  sons ³  of the resurrection.

For you all are sons of the light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of the darkness.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children ¹  of God.

By saying this you testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets.

(Now seven sons of a man named ¹  Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were doing this.) ²

The field is the world and the good seed are the people ¹  of the kingdom. The weeds are the people ²  of the evil one,

After he said, “From foreigners,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons ¹  are free.

So ¹  Jesus said to them, “The people of this age ²  marry and are given in marriage.

But if you do not experience discipline, ¹  something all sons ²  have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.

so that you may be like ¹  your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” ¹ 

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons ¹  cast them ²  out? For this reason they will be your judges.

to James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee, ¹  he gave the name Boanerges (that is, “sons of thunder”);

Then ¹  James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light.” ¹  When Jesus had said these things, he went away and hid himself from them.

Brothers, ¹  descendants ²  of Abraham’s family, ³  and those Gentiles among you who fear God, ⁴  the message ⁵  of this salvation has been sent to us.
