Do we not have the right to financial support? ¹ 

So Pilate said, ¹  “Do you refuse to speak to me? Don’t you know I have the authority ²  to release you, and to crucify you?” ³ 

because he taught them like one who had authority, ¹  not like their experts in the law. ² 

and to have authority to cast out demons.

and he has granted the Son ¹  authority to execute judgment, ²  because he is the Son of Man.

Or do only Barnabas and I lack the right not to work?

For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority ¹  on her head, because of the angels. ²

just as you have given him authority over all humanity, ¹  so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him. ² 

and here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison ¹  all who call on your name!” ² 

It was not because we do not have that right, but to give ourselves as an example for you to imitate. ¹ 

We have an altar that those who serve in the tabernacle have no right to eat from.

These kings ¹  have a single intent, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

Jesus ¹  called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits ²  so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness. ³ 

The people there ¹  were amazed by his teaching, because he taught them like one who had authority, ²  not like the experts in the law. ³ 

But so that you may know ¹  that the Son of Man ²  has authority on earth to forgive sins,” – he said to the paralytic ³  –

Jesus ¹  called the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits. ² 

and said, “By what authority ¹  are you doing these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”
