There are ¹  three gates on the east side, three gates on the north side, three gates on the south side and three gates on the west side. ² 

You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes are not gathered ¹  from thorns or figs from thistles, are they? ² 

Stay away from every form of evil.

So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.

From that time ¹  on, Judas ²  began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

Now ¹  the next day, as they went out from Bethany, he was hungry.

save yourself and come down from the cross!” ¹ 

He has brought down the mighty ¹  from their thrones, and has lifted up those of lowly position; ²
