The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  said, “A man had two sons.

The officers replied, “No one ever spoke like this man!”

The good person ¹  brings good things out of his ²  good treasury, ³  and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasury.

How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”

When ¹  they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, ¹  and he cried out, ² 

What can a person give in exchange for his life?

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, ¹ 

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

There ¹  right ²  in front of him was a man suffering from dropsy. ³ 

They will say, ¹  ‘This man ²  began to build and was not able to finish!’ ³ 

Now when Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.

A man came, sent from God, whose name was John. ¹ 

Now a certain man, a Pharisee ¹  named Nicodemus, who was a member of the Jewish ruling council, ² 

Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

One ¹  should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

For there is one God and one intermediary ¹  between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human, ² 

that the person dedicated to God ¹  may be capable ²  and equipped for every good work.

For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,
