and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

For all of you who ¹  were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

The beginning of the gospel ¹  of Jesus Christ, ²  the Son of God. ³ 

and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. ¹ 

From Paul, ¹  an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to further the promise ²  of life in Christ Jesus,

This is the record of the genealogy ¹  of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

so that times of refreshing ¹  may come from the presence of the Lord, ²  and so that he may send the Messiah ³  appointed ⁴  for you – that is, Jesus.

You also are among them, ¹  called to belong to Jesus Christ. ² 

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ¹ 

just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you –

Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.

For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised.

Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep ¹  in Christ have also perished.

But you did not learn about Christ like this,

Take your share of suffering ¹  as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.

But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him. ¹ 

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His plea ¹  through us. We plead with you ²  on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God!”

But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages ¹  sin? Absolutely not!

But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. ¹
