So there was ¹  great joy ²  in that city.

And the disciples were filled with joy ¹  and with the Holy Spirit.

I have told you these things ¹  so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.

When they saw the star they shouted joyfully. ¹ 

Joy and gladness will come ¹  to you, and many will rejoice at ²  his birth, ³ 

So ¹  they worshiped ²  him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, ³ 

so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.

And with this confidence I intended to come to you first so that you would get a second opportunity to see us, ¹ 

I always pray with joy in my every prayer for all of you

So welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him,

For you are our glory and joy!

As I remember your tears, I long to see you, ¹  so that I may be filled with joy.

My brothers and sisters, ¹  consider it nothing but joy ²  when you fall into all sorts of trials,

Thus ¹  we are writing these things so that ²  our ³  joy may be complete. ⁴ 

The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands by and listens for him, rejoices greatly ¹  when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. This then is my joy, and it is complete. ² 

So ¹  they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels ¹  over one sinner who repents.”

And while they still could not believe it ¹  (because of their joy) and were amazed, ²  he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” ³ 

I do not mean that we rule over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy, because by faith you stand firm. ¹ 

But the fruit of the Spirit ¹  is love, ²  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ³
