Finally, brothers and sisters, ¹  whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

For just a little longer ¹  and he who is coming will arrive and not delay. ² 

For all of you who ¹  were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

For all who have sinned apart from the law ¹  will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

Then ¹  the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.

But these men do not understand the things they slander, and they are being destroyed by the very things that, like irrational animals, they instinctively comprehend. ¹ 

And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, ¹  you will receive.”

For he had healed many, so that all who were afflicted with diseases pressed toward him in order to touch him.

I fast twice ¹  a week; I give a tenth ²  of everything I get.’

Now they understand ¹  that everything ²  you have given me comes from you,

to do as much as your power ¹  and your plan ²  had decided beforehand ³  would happen.

For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” ¹ 

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are ¹  the sons of God.

Thus he became ¹  so far better than the angels as ²  he has inherited a name superior to theirs.

And since ¹  this was not done without a sworn affirmation – for the others have become priests without a sworn affirmation,

And just as people ¹  are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, ² 

All those ¹  I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!

“I tell you the truth, ¹  whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

“Return to your home, ¹  and declare ²  what God has done for you.” ³  So ⁴  he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole town ⁵  what Jesus ⁶  had done for him.

When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.
