“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” ¹ 

This is the first and greatest ¹  commandment.

But Jesus cried out with a loud voice and breathed his last.

By now a strong wind was blowing and the sea was getting rough.

Now godliness combined with contentment brings great profit.

and since we have a great priest ¹  over the house of God,

There will be great earthquakes, and famines ¹  and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights ²  and great signs ³  from heaven.

With ¹  great power the apostles were giving testimony ²  to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on them all.

All the people, ¹  from the least to the greatest, paid close attention to him, saying, “This man is the power of God that is called ‘Great.’” ² 

When they saw the star they shouted joyfully. ¹ 

I ¹  tell you that something greater than the temple is here.

You are blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred?

Then Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up his spirit.

There on the hillside, ¹  a great herd of pigs was feeding.

He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”

But ¹  when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled back.

because he who is mighty ¹  has done great things for me, and holy is his name;

Then he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. Make preparations there.”

So ¹  they worshiped ²  him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, ³ 

When ¹  he had said this, he shouted in a loud voice, ²  “Lazarus, come out!”
