Then they sat down and kept guard over him there.

the people who sit in darkness have seen a great light, and on those who sit in the region and shadow of death a light has dawned.” ¹ 

Now some of the experts in the law ¹  were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds: ² 

For ¹  it will overtake ²  all who live on the face of the whole earth. ³ 

So Jesus went on up the mountainside ¹  and sat down there with his disciples.

And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.

As ¹  Jesus ²  approached ³  Jericho, ⁴  a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my ¹  lord, “Sit at my right hand,

When they had made a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.

But from now on ¹  the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand ²  of the power ³  of God.”

¹ He found in the temple courts ²  those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables. ³ 

“Do not be afraid, people of Zion; ¹  look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!” ² 

and was returning home, sitting ¹  in his chariot, reading ²  the prophet Isaiah.

In ¹  Lystra ²  sat a man who could not use his feet, ³  lame from birth, ⁴  who had never walked.

Immediately I was in the Spirit, ¹  and ²  a throne was standing ³  in heaven with someone seated on it!
