When they sprout leaves, you see ¹  for yourselves and know that summer is now near.

For some have already wandered away to follow Satan. ¹ 

Pilate was surprised that he was already dead. He ¹  called the centurion and asked him if he had been dead for some time.

When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is an isolated place ¹  and it is already very late.

Since considerable time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous ¹  because the fast ²  was already over, ³  Paul advised them, ⁴ 

Already you are satisfied! Already you are rich! You have become kings without us! I wish you had become kings so that we could reign with you!

Not that I have already attained this – that is, I have not already been perfected – but I strive to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me. ¹ 

Now ¹  when evening had already come, since it was the day of preparation (that is, the day before the Sabbath), ² 

“I have come ¹  to bring ²  fire on the earth – and how I wish it were already kindled!

When the feast was half over, Jesus went up to the temple courts ¹  and began to teach. ² 

You are clean already ¹  because of the word that I have spoken to you.

This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

For I am already being poured out as an offering, and the time for me to depart ¹  is at hand.

Now ¹  a great windstorm ²  developed and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was nearly swamped.

“I have compassion on the crowd, because they have already been here with me three days, and they have nothing to eat.

It was now ¹  about noon, ²  and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, ³ 

While he was on his way down, ¹  his slaves ²  met him and told him that his son was going to live.

When ¹  Jesus arrived, ²  he found that Lazarus ³  had been in the tomb four days already. ⁴ 

The evening meal ¹  was in progress, and the devil had already put into the heart ²  of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, that he should betray ³  Jesus. ⁴ 

After this Jesus, realizing that by this time ¹  everything was completed, ²  said (in order to fulfill the scripture), ³  “I am thirsty!” ⁴
