Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, ¹  for all live before him.” ² 

For this reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he may be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so the one who consumes ¹  me will live because of me.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with ¹  the Spirit.

For now we are alive again, ¹  if you stand firm in the Lord.

But the one who lives for pleasure is dead even ¹  while she lives.

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.

(for if you live according to the flesh, you will ¹  die), ²  but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live.

If we live, we live for the Lord; if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

In a little while ¹  the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised. ¹ 

For indeed he was crucified by reason of weakness, but he lives because of God’s power. For we also are weak in him, but we will live together with him, because of God’s power toward you.

He is not the God of the dead but of the living. ¹  You are badly mistaken!”

And when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

Jesus ¹  said to him, “You have answered correctly; ²  do this, and you will live.”

They took the boy home alive and were greatly ¹  comforted.

Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

So then, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh

For none of us lives for himself and none dies for himself.
