For surely there is a future, ¹  and your hope will not be cut off. ² 

for the evil person has no future, ¹  and the lamp of the wicked will be extinguished. ² 

By faith also Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning the future.

Indeed, there is hope for your posterity. ¹  Your children will return to their own territory. I, the Lord, affirm it! ² 

Sinful rebels are totally destroyed; ¹  evil men have no future. ² 

Take note of the one who has integrity! Observe the godly! ¹  For the one who promotes peace has a future. ² 

Likewise, know ¹  that wisdom is sweet ²  to your soul; if you find it, ³  you will have a future, ⁴  and your hope will not be cut off.

For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord. ¹  ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you ²  a future filled with hope. ³ 

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you,

A whole generation ¹  will serve him; they will tell the next generation about the sovereign Lord. ² 

The account of his intervention ¹  will be recorded for future generations; people yet to be born will praise the Lord.

She is clothed ¹  with strength ²  and honor, ³  and she can laugh ⁴  at the time ⁵  to come.

The vision of the evenings and mornings that was told to you is correct. ¹  But you should seal up the vision, for it refers to a time many days from now.”

In this way they will save up ¹  a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation ²  for the future and so lay hold of ³  what is truly life.

yet a fool keeps on babbling. ¹  No one knows what will happen; who can tell him what will happen in the future? ² 

And you didn’t stop there, O Lord God! You have also spoken about the future of your servant’s family. ¹  Is this your usual way of dealing with men, ²  O Lord God?

Surely no one knows the future, ¹  and no one can tell another person what will happen. ² 

And God said, “This is the guarantee ¹  of the covenant I am making ²  with you ³  and every living creature with you, a covenant ⁴  for all subsequent ⁵  generations:

Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to future days.”

And you did not stop there, O God! You have also spoken about the future of your servant’s family. ¹  You have revealed to me what men long to know, ²  O Lord God.
