Now the Jewish feast of Tabernacles ¹  was near. ² 

(Now the Jewish feast of the Passover ¹  was near.) ² 

So Laban invited all the people ¹  of that place and prepared a feast.

Then came the feast of the Dedication ¹  in Jerusalem. ² 

He observed the daily requirements for sacrifices that Moses had specified for Sabbaths, new moon festivals, and the three annual celebrations – the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Temporary Shelters. ¹ 

So Isaac ¹  held a feast for them and they celebrated. ² 

Now ¹  Jesus’ ²  parents went to Jerusalem ³  every ⁴  year for the feast of the Passover. ⁵ 

After this ¹  there was a Jewish feast, ²  and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ³ 

So what will you do on the festival day, on the festival days of the Lord?

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, ¹  which is called the Passover, was approaching.

So the Jewish leaders ¹  were looking for him at the feast, asking, “Where is he?” ² 

“You must observe ¹  the Feast of Weeks – the firstfruits of the harvest of wheat – and the Feast of Ingathering at the end ²  of the year.

“‘Do not go to a house where people are feasting and sit down to eat and drink with them either.

So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him because they had seen all the things he had done in Jerusalem ¹  at the feast ²  (for they themselves had gone to the feast). ³ 

You go up ¹  to the feast yourselves. I am not going up to this feast ²  because my time ³  has not yet fully arrived.” ⁴ 

“Three times ¹  in the year you must make a pilgrim feast ²  to me.

So Moses spoke to the Israelites about the appointed times of the Lord. ¹ 

But they said, “Not during the feast, so that there won’t be a riot among the people.” ¹ 

For they said, “Not during the feast, so there won’t be a riot among the people.” ¹
