You killed ¹  the Originator ²  of life, whom God raised ³  from the dead. To this fact we are witnesses! ⁴ 

So because these facts ¹  are indisputable, ²  you must keep quiet ³  and not do anything reckless. ⁴ 

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

(although Jesus himself was not baptizing, but his disciples were), ¹ 

For in fact the body is not a single member, but many.

So for me, it is a minor matter that I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.

The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

For in fact when we were with you, we were telling you in advance that we would suffer affliction, and so it has happened, as you well know. ¹ 

For they deliberately suppress this fact, ¹  that by the word of God ²  heavens existed long ago and an earth ³  was formed out of water and by means of water.

Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, ¹  that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day.

But some in the crowd shouted one thing, and others something else, ¹  and when the commanding officer ²  was unable ³  to find out the truth ⁴  because of the disturbance, ⁵  he ordered Paul ⁶  to be brought into the barracks. ⁷ 

The one who gives an answer ¹  before he listens ²  – that is his folly and his shame. ³ 

So they began to discuss with one another about having no bread. ¹ 

Jesus told him, “You have seen him; he ¹  is the one speaking with you.” ² 

But as a matter of fact, God has placed each of the members in the body just as he decided.

On the contrary, those members that seem to be weaker are essential,

For indeed, what had been glorious now ¹  has no glory because of the tremendously greater glory of what replaced it. ² 

Now in fact all who want to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.

In fact, the scene ¹  was so terrifying that Moses said, “I shudder with fear.” ²
