and two braided chains of pure gold, like a cord, and attach the chains to the settings.

They bind ¹  their kings in chains, and their nobles in iron shackles,

They made for the breastpiece braided chains like cords of pure gold,

And others experienced mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.

for which I suffer hardship to the point of imprisonment ¹  as a criminal, but God’s message ²  is not imprisoned! ³ 

He made ornamental chains ¹  and put them on top of the pillars. He also made one hundred pomegranate-shaped ornaments and arranged them within the chains.

Then ¹  I saw an angel descending from heaven, holding ²  in his hand the key to the abyss and a huge chain.

He lived among the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.

He paneled ¹  the main hall ²  with boards made from evergreen trees ³  and plated it with fine gold, decorated with palm trees and chains. ⁴
