Then Jotham ran away ¹  to Beer and lived there to escape from ²  Abimelech his half-brother. ³ 

Now ¹  Isaac came from ²  Beer Lahai Roi, ³  for ⁴  he was living in the Negev. ⁵ 

That is why the well was called ¹  Beer Lahai Roi. ²  (It is located ³  between Kadesh and Bered.)

From there Isaac ¹  went up to Beer Sheba.

Hazar Shual, Beer Sheba, Biziothiah,

And from there they traveled ¹  to Beer; ²  that is the well where the Lord spoke to Moses, “Gather the people and I will give them water.”

as well as all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the land assigned to the tribe of Simeon by its clans. ¹ 

Indeed, the cries of distress echo throughout Moabite territory; their wailing can be heard in Eglaim and Beer Elim. ¹ 

Their assigned land included ¹  Beer Sheba, ²  Moladah,

They lived in Beer Sheba, Moladah, Hazar Shual,

in Hazar Shual, in Beer Sheba and its villages,

After Abraham’s death, God blessed ¹  his son Isaac. Isaac lived near Beer Lahai Roi. ² 

Meanwhile Jacob left Beer Sheba and set out for Haran.

Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set out together ¹  for Beer Sheba where Abraham stayed. ² 

Even these men ¹  stagger because of wine, they stumble around because of beer – priests and prophets stagger because of beer, they are confused ²  because of wine, they stumble around because of beer; they stagger while seeing prophetic visions, ³  they totter while making legal decisions. ⁴ 

That is why he named that place ¹  Beer Sheba, ²  because the two of them swore ³  an oath there.

Abraham ¹  planted a tamarisk tree ²  in Beer Sheba. There he worshiped the Lord, ³  the eternal God.

So he named it Shibah; ¹  that is why the name of the city has been Beer Sheba ²  to this day.

All Israel from Dan to Beer Sheba realized that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord.

The name of his firstborn son was Joel, and the name of his second son was Abijah. They were judges in Beer Sheba.
