For such people are false apostles, deceitful ¹  workers, disguising themselves ²  as apostles of Christ.

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas (which is translated “son of encouragement”), ¹ 

sold ¹  a field ²  that belonged to him and brought the money ³  and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

But Peter and the apostles replied, ¹  “We must obey ²  God rather than people. ³ 

But I saw none of the other apostles ¹  except James the Lord’s brother.
