Just before ¹  the Lord took Elijah up to heaven in a windstorm, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal.

The Lord told Elijah the Tishbite: ¹ 

The Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, ¹ 

Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zikri were the sons of Jeroham.

From the descendants of Harim: Maaseiah, Elijah, Shemaiah, Jehiel, and Uzziah.

Then Moses ¹  and Elijah ²  also appeared before them, talking with him.

Then Elijah appeared before them along with Moses, ¹  and they were talking with Jesus.

Then ¹  two men, Moses and Elijah, ²  began talking with him. ³ 

As Obadiah was traveling along, Elijah met him. ¹  When he recognized him, he fell facedown to the ground and said, “Is it really you, my master, Elijah?”

The Lord answered Elijah’s prayer; the boy’s breath returned to him and he lived.

He replied, “Yes, ¹  go and say to your master, ‘Elijah is back.’” ² 

From the descendants of Elam: Mattaniah, Zechariah, Jehiel, Abdi, Jeremoth, and Elijah.

Elijah took the boy, brought him down from the upper room to the house, and handed him to his mother. Elijah then said, “See, your son is alive!”

So Elijah went to make an appearance before Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. ¹ 

Now you say, ‘Go and say to your master, “Elijah is back.”’ ¹ 

When Obadiah went and informed Ahab, the king went to meet Elijah. ¹ 

Then Elijah told Ahab, “Go on up and eat and drink, for the sound of a heavy rainstorm can be heard.” ¹ 

Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, including a detailed account of how he killed all the prophets with the sword.

Look, I will send you Elijah ¹  the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.

Elijah told them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Don’t let even one of them escape!” So they seized them, and Elijah led them down to the Kishon Valley and executed ¹  them there.
