Their assigned land included ¹  Beer Sheba, ²  Moladah,

From there Isaac ¹  went up to Beer Sheba.

Hazar Shual, Beer Sheba, Biziothiah,

They lived in Beer Sheba, Moladah, Hazar Shual,

in Hazar Shual, in Beer Sheba and its villages,

Meanwhile Jacob left Beer Sheba and set out for Haran.

Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set out together ¹  for Beer Sheba where Abraham stayed. ² 

So he named it Shibah; ¹  that is why the name of the city has been Beer Sheba ²  to this day.

That is why he named that place ¹  Beer Sheba, ²  because the two of them swore ³  an oath there.

Abraham ¹  planted a tamarisk tree ²  in Beer Sheba. There he worshiped the Lord, ³  the eternal God.

All Israel from Dan to Beer Sheba realized that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord.

The name of his firstborn son was Joel, and the name of his second son was Abijah. They were judges in Beer Sheba.

Obal, ¹  Abimael, ²  Sheba, ³ 

Ebal, ¹  Abimael, Sheba,

Do not seek Bethel! ¹  Do not visit Gilgal! Do not journey down ²  to Beer Sheba! For the people of Gilgal ³  will certainly be carried into exile; ⁴  and Bethel will become a place where disaster abounds.” ⁵ 

These are the ones who now take oaths ¹  in the name of the sinful idol goddess ²  of Samaria. They vow, ³  ‘As surely as your god ⁴  lives, O Dan,’ or ‘As surely as your beloved one ⁵  lives, O Beer Sheba!’ But they will fall down and not get up again.”

So they made a treaty ¹  at Beer Sheba. Then Abimelech and Phicol, the commander of his army, returned ²  to the land of the Philistines. ³ 

So Israel began his journey, taking with him all that he had. ¹  When he came to Beer Sheba ²  he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

Then Jacob started out ¹  from Beer Sheba, and the sons of Israel carried their father Jacob, their little children, and their wives in the wagons that Pharaoh had sent along to transport him.

All the Israelites from Dan to Beer Sheba ¹  and from the land of Gilead ²  left their homes ³  and assembled together ⁴  before the Lord at Mizpah.
