You see that his faith was working together with his works and his faith was perfected by works.

But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” ¹  Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by ²  my works.

Their webs cannot be used for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. Their deeds are sinful; they commit violent crimes. ¹ 

They witnessed the acts of the Lord, his amazing feats on the deep water.

The Lord’s deeds are great, eagerly awaited ¹  by all who desire them.

it is not from ¹  works, so that no one can boast. ² 

None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord! Your exploits are incomparable! ¹ 

How great are your works, O Lord! Your plans are very intricate! ¹ 

His acts are characterized by ¹  faithfulness and justice; all his precepts are reliable. ² 

So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.

They quickly forgot what he had done; ¹  they did not wait for his instructions. ² 

One generation will praise your deeds to another, and tell about your mighty acts! ¹ 

A lying tongue ¹  hates those crushed by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin. ² 

I increased my possessions: ¹  I built houses for myself; ²  I planted vineyards for myself.

If I do not perform ¹  the deeds ²  of my Father, do not believe me.

Come! Witness the exploits ¹  of the Lord, who brings devastation to the earth! ² 

I will focus on your honor and majestic splendor, and your amazing deeds! ¹ 

Give ¹  her credit for what she has accomplished, ²  and let her works praise her ³  in the city gates. ⁴ 

So then they said to him, “What must we do to accomplish the deeds ¹  God requires?” ² 

For if Abraham was declared righteous ¹  by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God.
