He brought the east wind through the sky, and by his strength led forth the south wind.

The wind goes to the south and circles around to the north; round and round ¹  the wind goes and on its rounds it returns. ² 

So ¹  he got up and rebuked ²  the wind, and said to the sea, ³  “Be quiet! Calm down!” Then ⁴  the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.

Then ¹  seven heads of grain, thin and burned by the east wind, were sprouting up after them.

He mounted ¹  a winged angel ²  and flew; he glided ³  on the wings of the wind. ⁴ 

The north wind ¹  brings forth rain, and a gossiping tongue ²  brings forth ³  an angry look. ⁴
