This is the reason I was often hindered from coming to you.

For this reason ¹  I kneel ²  before the Father, ³ 

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, ¹ 

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus ¹  for the sake of you Gentiles –

This is why the Father loves me ¹  – because I lay down my life, ²  so that I may take it back again.

Because they had heard that Jesus ¹  had performed this miraculous sign, the crowd went out to meet him.

For perhaps it was for this reason that he was separated from you for a little while, so that you would have him back eternally, ¹ 

“How much less, ¹  then, can I answer him ²  and choose my words ³  to argue ⁴  with ⁵  him! ⁶ 

he who ¹  crushes ²  me with a tempest, and multiplies my wounds for no reason. ³ 

For this reason they could not believe, ¹  because again Isaiah said,

That is why many of you are weak and sick, and quite a few are dead. ¹ 

For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, ¹ 

– though mine too are significant. ¹  If someone thinks he has good reasons to put confidence in human credentials, ²  I have more:

For this very reason, ¹  make every effort ²  to add to your faith excellence, ³  to excellence, knowledge;

There ¹  an upright person could present his case ²  before him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.

“For this reason, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves. ¹ 

For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple courts ¹  and were trying to kill me.

For this reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities ¹  are God’s servants devoted to governing. ² 

So I boast ¹  in Christ Jesus about the things that pertain to God.

For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority ¹  on her head, because of the angels. ²
