Guide me ¹  in the path of your commands, for I delight to walk in it. ² 

Do not enter the path of the wicked or walk ¹  in the way of those who are evil.

Make the path for your feet ¹  level, ²  so that ³  all your ways may be established. ⁴ 

a hidden path ¹  no bird of prey knows – no falcon’s ²  eye has spotted it.

They destroy ¹  my path; they succeed in destroying me ²  without anyone assisting ³  them.

נ (Nun) Your word ¹  is a lamp to walk by, and a light to illumine my path. ² 

¹ The way of the righteous is level, the path of the righteous that you make is straight. ² 

This is what the Lord says, the one who made a road through the sea, a pathway through the surging waters,

Lest ¹  she should make level the path leading to life, ²  her paths are unstable ³  but she does not know it. ⁴ 

Then you will understand ¹  righteousness and justice and equity – every ²  good ³  way. ⁴ 

You carefully observe me when I travel or when I lie down to rest; ¹  you are aware of everything I do. ² 

In the path of righteousness there is life, but another path leads to death. ¹ 

The way of the sluggard is like a hedge of thorns, ¹  but the path of the upright is like ²  a highway. ³ 

The path of life is upward ¹  for the wise person, ²  to ³  keep him from going downward to Sheol. ⁴ 

May Dan be a snake beside the road, a viper by the path, that bites the heels of the horse so that its rider falls backward. ¹ 

You lead me in ¹  the path of life; ²  I experience absolute joy in your presence; ³  you always give me sheer delight. ⁴ 

Teach me how you want me to live; ¹  lead me along a level path ²  because of those who wait to ambush me! ³ 

Even when my strength leaves me, ¹  you watch my footsteps. ²  In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.

Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains, and a path for the rumble of thunder,

A rope is hidden for him ¹  on the ground and a trap for him ²  lies on the path.
