Joseph ¹  took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, ² 

So the young men came, ¹  wrapped him up, ²  carried him out, and buried ³  him.

This ¹  will be a sign ²  for you: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.” ³ 

He poured water into the washbasin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to dry them with the towel he had wrapped around himself. ¹ 

Then they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it, with the aromatic spices, ¹  in strips of linen cloth ²  according to Jewish burial customs. ³ 

After Joseph ¹  bought a linen cloth ²  and took down the body, he wrapped it in the linen and placed it in a tomb cut out of the rock. ³  Then ⁴  he rolled a stone across the entrance ⁵  of the tomb.

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in strips of cloth ¹  and laid him in a manger, ²  because there was no place for them in the inn. ³ 

Then ¹  he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, ²  and placed it ³  in a tomb cut out of the rock, ⁴  where no one had yet been buried. ⁵ 

The one who had died came out, his feet and hands tied up with strips of cloth, ¹  and a cloth wrapped around his face. ²  Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him ³  and let him go.”

Then ¹  I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped ²  in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire. ³
