My body ¹  is clothed ²  with worms ³  and dirty scabs; ⁴  my skin is broken ⁵  and festering.

Together they lie down in the dust, and worms cover over them both.

So they put it aside until the morning, just as Moses had commanded, and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.

You will plant vineyards and cultivate them, but you will not drink wine or gather in grapes, because worms will eat them.

Immediately an angel of the Lord ¹  struck ²  Herod ³  down because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten by worms and died. ⁴ 

But they did not listen to Moses; some ¹  kept part of it until morning, and it was full ²  of worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.

Your splendor ¹  has been brought down to Sheol, as well as the sound of your stringed instruments. ²  You lie on a bed of maggots, with a blanket of worms over you. ³
