The whole town gathered by the door.

A little yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise! ¹ 

If the whole body were an eye, what part would do the hearing? If the whole were an ear, what part would exercise the sense of smell?

As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar, ¹  saying, “Who is this?”

When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran ¹  at once and greeted him.

Now ¹  when it was noon, ²  darkness came over the whole land ³  until three in the afternoon. ⁴ 

Now ¹  the whole crowd ²  of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. ³ 

For ¹  it will overtake ²  all who live on the face of the whole earth. ³ 

Then ¹  the whole group of them rose up and brought Jesus ²  before Pilate. ³ 

Great ¹  fear gripped ²  the whole church ³  and all who heard about these things.

For I did not hold back from ¹  announcing ²  to you the whole purpose ³  of God.

For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

“Whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you took no delight in.

Jesus ¹  went out again by the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.

For what benefit is it for a person ¹  to gain the whole world, yet ²  forfeit his life?

The ¹  whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power ²  was coming out from him and healing them all.

For what does it benefit a person ¹  if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?

It was now ¹  about noon, ²  and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, ³ 

On the next Sabbath almost the whole city assembled together to hear the word of the Lord. ¹
