Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

Woe to you! ¹  You are like unmarked graves, and people ²  walk over them without realizing it!” ³ 

Jesus said to him, “Stand up! Pick up your mat ¹  and walk.”

The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

(Now this is love: that we walk ¹  according to his commandments.) This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning; thus ²  you should walk in it. ³ 

But he answered them, “The man who made me well said to me, ‘Pick up your mat ¹  and walk.’”

The nations ¹  will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur ²  into it.

The blind see, the ¹  lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news proclaimed to them.

Which is easier, ¹  to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up, take your stretcher, and walk’?

Jesus replied, ¹  “The light is with you for a little while longer. ²  Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. ³  The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, ¹  but what I do have I give you. In the name ²  of Jesus Christ ³  the Nazarene, stand up and ⁴  walk!”
