In the same way, the one who had two gained two more.

and the two will become one flesh. ¹  So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

The ¹  one with the two talents also came and said, ‘Sir, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more.’

Then ¹  two men, Moses and Elijah, ²  began talking with him. ³ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  said, “A man had two sons.

After the two days he departed from there to Galilee.

(Now Bethany was less than two miles ¹  from Jerusalem, ² 

Reject a divisive person after one or two warnings.

For from now on ¹  there will be five in one household divided, three against two and two against three.

(These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.) ¹ 

After this ¹  the Lord appointed seventy-two ²  others and sent them on ahead of him two by two into every town ³  and place where he himself was about to go.

Then ¹  he summoned ²  two of the centurions ³  and said, “Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea ⁴  along with seventy horsemen ⁵  and two hundred spearmen ⁶  by ⁷  nine o’clock tonight, ⁸ 

But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established. ¹ 

Jesus ¹  called the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits. ² 

And if anyone forces you to go one mile, ¹  go with him two.

They ¹  said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

Now ¹  when the other ten ²  heard this, ³  they were angry with the two brothers.

All the law and the prophets depend ¹  on these two commandments.”

Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left. ¹
