I ¹  continually think about ²  this, and I ³  am depressed. ⁴ 

Those who think they are wise are as good as dead, ¹  those who think they possess understanding. ² 

If you think, “These nations are more numerous than I – how can I dispossess them?”

For, when I think ¹  about this, I am terrified ²  and my body feels a shudder. ³ 

“Do you think this to be ¹  just: when ²  you say, ‘My right before God.’ ³ 

whenever ¹  I remember you on my bed, and think about you during the nighttime hours.

I will think about all you have done; I will reflect upon your deeds!”

Remember this, so you can be brave! ¹  Think about it, you rebels! ² 

“‘Therefore this is what the sovereign Lord says: Because you think you are godlike, ¹ 

‘Think carefully about the past: ¹  from today, the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, ²  to the day work on the temple of the Lord was resumed, ³  think about it. ⁴ 

So now we are in your power. ¹  Do to us what you think is good and appropriate. ² 

Do you really think ¹  that one who hates justice can govern? ²  And will you declare guilty the supremely righteous ³  One,

It leaves a glistening wake behind it; one would think the deep had a head of white hair.

I said, “I will remember God while I groan; I will think about him while my strength leaves me.” ¹  (Selah)

What the righteous say ¹  is like ²  the best ³  silver, but what the wicked think ⁴  is of little value. ⁵ 

When you enter my presence, do you actually think I want this – animals trampling on my courtyards? ¹ 

To whom can you compare and liken me? Tell me whom you think I resemble, so we can be compared!

Do you people think ¹  that I am some local deity and not the transcendent God?” ²  the Lord asks. ³ 

You who have escaped the sword, ¹  go, do not delay. ²  Remember the Lord in a faraway land. Think about Jerusalem. ³ 

The city’s rich men think nothing of resorting to violence; ¹  her inhabitants lie, ²  their tongues speak deceptive words. ³
