“You shall not give ¹  false testimony ²  against your neighbor.

You must not offer false testimony against another. ¹ 

At the testimony of two or three witnesses they must be executed. They cannot be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.

Just as the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron placed it before the Testimony ¹  for safekeeping. ² 

You are to put into the ark the testimony ¹  that I will give to you.

“With it you are to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony,

the ark of the testimony and its poles, and the atonement lid;

Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

Do not completely deprive me of a truthful testimony, ¹  for I await your justice.

“You are to put it in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the testimony (before the atonement lid that is over the testimony), where I will meet you.

But the Levites must camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that the Lord’s anger ¹  will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are responsible for the care ²  of the tabernacle of the testimony.”

You are to put the atonement lid on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place.

You are to place the ark of the testimony in it and shield the ark with the special curtain.

“You must not follow a crowd ¹  in doing evil things; ²  in a lawsuit you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice, ³ 

You are to put the atonement lid on top of the ark, and in the ark you are to put the testimony I am giving you.

the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the atonement lid that is on it, all the furnishings ¹  of the tent,

He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God. ¹ 

You are to put ¹  the gold altar for incense in front of the ark of the testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

He took the testimony and put it in the ark, attached the poles to the ark, and then put the atonement lid on the ark.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, hung ¹  the protecting curtain, ²  and shielded the ark of the testimony from view, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
