He deprives the trusted advisers ¹  of speech ²  and takes away the discernment ³  of elders.

The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; ¹  its features ²  are dyed ³  like a garment.

He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water.

He is the one who forms every human heart, ¹  and takes note of all their actions.

Rage takes hold of me because of the wicked, those who reject your law.

For the Lord takes delight in his people; he exalts the oppressed by delivering them. ¹ 

A fool takes no pleasure ¹  in understanding but only in disclosing ²  what is on his mind. ³ 

The Lord takes his position to judge; he stands up to pass sentence on his people. ¹ 

‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

For what hope does the godless have when he is cut off, ¹  when God takes away his life? ² 

Look, the Lord takes notice of his loyal followers, ¹  those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulness ² 

Taste ¹  and see that the Lord is good! How blessed ²  is the one ³  who takes shelter in him! ⁴ 

Praise the Lord! How blessed is the one ²  who obeys ³  the Lord, who takes great delight in keeping his commands. ⁴ 

Though the Lord is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away.

The Lord takes delight in his faithful followers, ¹  and in those who wait for his loyal love.

Such ¹  are the ways ²  of all who gain profit unjustly; ³  it ⁴  takes away the life ⁵  of those who obtain it! ⁶ 

for jealousy kindles ¹  a husband’s ²  rage, and he will not show mercy ³  when he takes revenge.

At the top ¹  of the elevated places along the way, at the intersection ²  of the paths she takes her stand;
