(Now Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there, opposite the tomb.)

As ¹  Jesus ²  approached ³  Jericho, ⁴  a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

and was returning home, sitting ¹  in his chariot, reading ²  the prophet Isaiah.

And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.

Now some of the experts in the law ¹  were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds: ² 

Suddenly ¹  a sound ²  like a violent wind blowing ³  came from heaven ⁴  and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

So the king got up, and with him the governor and Bernice and those sitting with them,

“To ¹  what should I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to one another, ² 

Two ¹  blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, ²  “Have mercy ³  on us, Lord, Son of David!” ⁴ 

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. A ¹  slave girl ²  came to him and said, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.”

A crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, “Look, your mother and your brothers ¹  are outside looking for you.”

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, “Here ¹  are my mother and my brothers!

So ¹  while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, ²  and Andrew asked him privately,

And Peter had followed him from a distance, up to the high priest’s courtyard. He ¹  was sitting with the guards ²  and warming himself by the fire.

“I am,” said Jesus, “and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand ¹  of the Power ²  and coming with the clouds of heaven.” ³ 

Then ¹  as they went into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe ²  sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

After ¹  three days ²  they found him in the temple courts, ³  sitting among the teachers, ⁴  listening to them and asking them questions.

After ¹  this, Jesus ²  went out and saw a tax collector ³  named Levi ⁴  sitting at the tax booth. ⁵  “Follow me,” ⁶  he said to him.

Then ¹  Levi gave a great banquet ²  in his house for Jesus, ³  and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others sitting ⁴  at the table with them.

¹ He found in the temple courts ²  those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables. ³
