David and all Israel ¹  were bringing up the ark of the Lord, shouting and blowing trumpets. ² 

They swore their allegiance to the Lord, shouting their approval loudly and sounding trumpets and horns. ¹ 

People were unable to tell the difference between the sound of joyous shouting and the sound of the people’s weeping, for the people were shouting so loudly ¹  that the sound was heard a long way off.

So David got up early in the morning and entrusted the flock to someone else who would watch over it. ¹  After loading up, he went just as Jesse had instructed him. He arrived at the camp ²  as the army was going out to the battle lines shouting its battle cry.
