But the crowd ¹  began to shout, ²  “The voice of a god, ³  and not of a man!”

But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is here! Come out to meet him.’ ¹ 

When ¹  they heard ²  this they became enraged ³  and began to shout, ⁴  “Great is Artemis ⁵  of the Ephesians!”

When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout, ¹  “Jesus, Son of David, ²  have mercy ³  on me!”

and began to shout ¹  when they saw the smoke from the fire that burned her up, ²  “Who is like the great city?”

So they took branches of palm trees ¹  and went out to meet him. They began to shout, ²  “Hosanna! ³  Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! ⁴  Blessed is ⁵  the king of Israel!”

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, ¹  and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

For it is written: “Rejoice, O barren woman who does not bear children; ¹  break forth and shout, you who have no birth pains, because the children of the desolate woman are more numerous than those of the woman who has a husband.” ²
