The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and the seven golden lampstands is this: ¹  The seven stars are the angels ²  of the seven churches and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, I tell you, but seventy-seven times! ¹ 

Now ¹  the seven angels holding ²  the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

(This requires ¹  a mind that has wisdom.) The seven heads are seven mountains ²  the woman sits on. They are also seven kings:

Then ¹  I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Then ¹  one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came and spoke to me, ²  saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb!”

“When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up?” They replied, ¹  “Seven.”

Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive ¹  him.”

Then ¹  another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadem crowns. ² 

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, dressed in clean bright linen, wearing wide golden belts ¹  around their chests.

Then ¹  one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath ²  of God who lives forever and ever,

Or the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many baskets you took up?

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They replied, “Seven.”

There were seven brothers. The first one married, ¹  and when he died he had no children.

None of the seven had children. Finally, the woman died too.

Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman ¹  and died without children.

In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will the woman be? ¹  For all seven had married her.” ² 

(Now seven sons of a man named ¹  Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were doing this.) ² 

By faith the walls of Jericho ¹  fell after the people marched around them ²  for seven days.

From ¹  the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaring ²  and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God, ³  were burning in front of the throne
